What fees are connected with the purchase of a fund?
Clients pay a one-off distributional (handling) charge upon the purchase of a fund and a fee for fund management (collected by the investment fund company from the fund assets).
What is a distributional (handling) charge?
A distributional (handling) charge is the remuneration of an investment fund company for the sale of the fund and is collected upon payment of assets into a fund or upon withdrawal of participation units.
What is a management fee?
A management fee represents the remuneration of an investment fund company for managing the fund. It is charged and collected on fund assets monthly and its rate is given in annual rates. The net value of a fund participation unit which is presented to the public is already reduced by the management fee.
What happens to the assets in the event of a fund owner's death?
After the death of a fund owner, the assets still remain in the register and they are a part of the inheritance estate. The procedure of withdrawal of the gathered resources begins after issuance of a court decision on distribution of the inheritance estate. In the case of appointment of enforcement representatives, the entire amount or part of the amount is paid to those people.
Do open funds guarantee a proper level of profit?
They do not. Open funds allocating their assets in the securities market are impossible to guarantee a specified profit level. Profit from fund investments depends on the type of securities which are invested in and on the investment duration. Therefore, particular investment fund categories, from very safe ones to aggressive ones, may achieve different profits. Thanks to various investments performed by specialists managing a fund and thanks to the obligation to conform to investment limits, in a long-term perspective, funds are one of the most profitable investment forms.
Are the funds offered by Investment Fund Managers own Investment Fund Managers' products?
No. Investment Fund Managers offers only investment funds of its co-operating partners.
Is it necessary to sign a contract with a fund for many years without a possibility to withdraw the resources without incurring extra costs?
No. Investment funds offered by Investment Fund Managers are open funds. This means that participation in them does not require a precise period of the investment duration. One can withdraw its resources from a fund without bearing any costs.
Are the services of Investment Fund Managers connected with additional costs?
No. The services of Investment Fund Managers are not connected with additional costs for its Clients. Our company is remunerated by our partners, i.e., the investment fund companies.
Is there a need to enter into a separate contract on co-operation with Investment Fund Managers?
No. A Client is not obliged to enter into an additional contract. Under our contracts with investment fund companies, Investment Fund Managers is obliged to provide a proper level of service to the Client.
What will happen to my fund portfolio if Investment Fund Managers ceases its activity?
If Investment Fund Managers ceases to operate, this would not trigger any negative legal or investment consequences for a fund owner. He/she would still retain all rights resulting from holding the funds, he/she would be able to contact the investment fund companies in order to carry out further operations and his/her assets would be managed without any changes.
Can one pay in/withdraw money in cash through Investment Fund Managers?
No. Investment Fund Managers does not accept cash payments for the purchase of fund participation units. All transfers to/from funds take place without our participation. Our Clients' money does not go through our bank accounts. Investment Fund Managers’ consultants simply receive a written order for the purchase of participation units on behalf of a Client and the respective payment is made directly by the Client to the fund's account in a depository bank. If the Client decides to withdraw from the investment, the assets from the fund go directly to the bank account specified by the Client.
